Teenage Pregnancy Awareness – Team 3

Partner Schools Worldwide > Weydon and Dwabor JHS > Teenage Pregnancy Awareness – Team 3

Day 8 – Friday 7/04/17
This morning was different, our morning call wasn’t just carol but a loud snore from our newest member Katie! We all got up at around the usual time 6 O’clock. The cooking and washing team got to work. As we are pressed for time with our projects, immediately after eating some delicious Omelet, we started work on the projects. We split up between painting wooden shapes, (Henry, Harry, and Alf) working on our team mural ( most of us) and repainting the Kindergarten ( Samuel and Katie) This morning, Harry also took the opportunity to impregnate an African girl called Mary, ( in a drama performance) alongside Alex, Sophie, Samuel and Alf. This piece was created to raise awareness of teenage pregnancy since 25% of Ghanaian teenage girls get pregnant, After getting back we have tucked into corned beef polonaise. And now we are all sitting now the school round about, as Samuel writes this blog.

PS: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS!
Sending from my love xx Alex, Harry and Henry

I spat out my coffee when I read the blog Samuel – I am very glad to hear it was a drama performance!
It is so lovely to hear from you and to receive the 3 blogs together, I guess the internet there must have been down.
Lots of love to you all
