Kakum Rainforest Visit – Team 3

Partner Schools Worldwide > Weydon and Dwabor JHS > Kakum Rainforest Visit – Team 3

Day 9 – Saturday 8/04/17
The morning started the same as ever with the breakfast of porridge and fruit to start the day. After our duties we went to a rainforest called Kakum where we walked across 80m high bridges. It was amazing we can’t wait to show you all pictures. Then following a short drive we arrived at a hotel called Hans Cottage, which lay on a lake with crocodile. Although there weren’t many we saw some as we walked around. Unfortunately as we left it started to rain so we had to abandon our beach trip but we should be rearranging for Monday morning. A day we are all really looking forward to. After arriving back at the camp we had a delicious meal of rice and spinach dish and people collected their fabrics from the seamstress. We are now getting ready for an early night as we have a big day of farewell tomorrow.

Wow, what a day and to walk across those bridges must have been scary! Glad to hear you are having a great trip and doing so many different and new things – what an adventure.
Lots of love to you all
