Day 6 – Wednesday 5/04/17

Earlier this morning we got up to fresh scent of the freshly cleaned toilets by George followed by eggy bread and a hot drink for breakfast, cooked beautifully by Zoe, Katie and Ollie. Everyone was feeling a bit lethargic, not helped by the absence Ms G to infected bites causing elephant sized swelling to her foot. We set to work painting benches, tables, library and wall mural. We finished painting 4 tables and 8 benches with a large spillage of paint by our resident dip, Archie, who blamed it on a wonky hinge. Maddy and Amber meticulously coloured – coded the whole library with a large mural on the wall. Lea, Zoe and Izzy S worked tirelessly on the mural as it started to take shape.

We then met up for a dress rehearsal of our under aged pregnancy play. The play starred Maddy as a nurse, Ollie as a doctor, Izzy M as narrator, Amber as mum and Zoe as a sister. The play included Archie impregnating a local Ghanaian ( baby name suggestions would be greatly appreciated), Ollie testing for babies and Elmina ( Zoe’s buddy) was kicked out of her home.

After this we had lovely dinner which consisted of spicy egg sauce and yam mash. After this we chilled and gave out the days awards. Star of the day was Ms G who managed to survive the life threatening experience of multiple infections. Dip of the day was reclaimed by Archie for multiple reasons of which he thought were slightly harsh.
