Today was a very exciting experience. We started off by travelling to the local Pentecostal church. We were greeted with the sound of cheerful music. We were asked to dance and sing with church members. There was a large woman at the front of the church with a booming voice singing and praising the lord! There were lots of songs so we had to keep getting up and out of our seats. We were invited up the front to sing, none of us could sing so one of the Elmina teachers sung and we just danced alone. There was a talk about Peter and other disciples. This was a new and very interesting experience. We did this to see how much religion is a part of Ghanaian lives.

After the church, we travelled to the Stumble Inn, where it is much cooler, thank goodness, and the scenery is more inviting. Upon arrival, we explored the site, taking in the scenery of the beach and the local wildlife. Mr. Keeling-Jones stood in the roaring waves, and showed us our limit of the depth of the sea. It was knee high. The waves were overpowering with strength, which splashed up and soaked our shorts so we played on the beach instead. We discovered that Ayan is a dog whisperer, as he let out a high pitched yelp, which called the hotel guard dogs over, wagging their tails. We all relaxed by the beach, as it was nice and cool, we had egg stew and rice for dinner, it was very nice, especially as we ate it along the beach side. We were all very tired, so we are going to bed earlier tonight.
