Today was our last full day in Brenu which everyone felt quite sad about! Everyone was up quite early as we had our breakfast and waited outside the house for the closing ceremony put on by the community. It was lovely and everyone got pulled up to dance in the middle – we all had a good time. After we said our formal good byes we went back to the house for an early lunch. We spent the rest of the day on the beach with our buddies and playing with the young children. Many of us with long hair seemed to have about 5 young girls playing with and it was really sweet. We stayed on the beach from about 12:30 pm til 9:00pm as we had a buffet with our buddies for dinner and a small party on the beach afterwards.
Everyone has had an amazing time on our trip and I think we have learnt a lot. Many people are now looking to normality back home but we will miss Brenu so much!
