Hallelujah!!! We were accompanied by our buddies who wore their Sunday best and looked fabulous in their colourful dresses. We then came back for lunch and had a delicious spinach, yam and rice dish cooked by Liszka, Frankie and Lauren. They are very good cooks! We all enjoyed it very much. Then we went to Elmina Castle and we saw the slave dungeons which were shocking and made us all feel a bit sad about the history. Then we took a ride on the bumpy bus and arrived home at Stumble Inn. Some of us were feeling a bit down and homesick so we had a chat with Mummy Lace which made us feel a lot better. After this we had a gigantic meal consisting of mainly chips and we all sang some songs. Which as you can imagine sounded magnificent. Now we are sitting by the fire and chatting to some people who are also staying here and they are very nice and funny. Overall it’s been a good day and we are excited for tomorrow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Liszka, Lauren and Frankie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Day 2 – Sunday 7th July Today we visited two churches to see how Ghanaians celebrated Christ the Lord.
