We spent today with our buddies. It\u2019s Saturday and the day began with a 7:00 wake up to get to the Tzu Chi school at 8:00. After our 7:30 breakfast we then were at the school to do a cooking project and bag decorating project. We got partnered with our buddies and another buddy pair to do the cooking. They showed up their home recipes and we made them together. For example my buddy and I made marshmallows with lemon juice. After we made our food\/snacks and cleared up we went to the tables and started to decorate each bag. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We decorated a bag for our buddies and they decorated one for us as a little reminder of our time together today. While snacking on the treats we made. It was really amazing getting to know our buddies better and talking to them.We them went to their houses and had lunch at the first one. Most of the buddies gave all of us little presents and a bigger present to their buddies, it was a great experience seeing our buddies homes, families, their culture and background. Looking forward to seeing them again tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
