The two teams both sat down for lunch in the communal area of the school, before the Dwabor team left for their school. It took a long time before we all managed to get our tents up ( Imogen Burrage) and a few of us learnt a bit of sewing ( Tom Mcginn) so we didn’t get eaten alive by mosquito during our sleep. We then had a while to mess about with all the kids and seek out our buddies, who were very pleased to finally see us in person. Turns out the’re better than us at rugby! Afterwards we were over to the village elders for our welcome ceremony and we all got to show off our dance moves in front of the whole village, but to our dismay the kids showed us up big time.It was certainly an experience we won’t forget, maybe we should introduce a welcoming ceremony to Farnham! We were led back to the school by the army of kids, half of which on our shoulders, so we got a good work out by the end of the day. Now after a long day and a good dinner, at half 8 we’re all shattered and ready for bed.<\/p>\n
Sam Adlam but scribed by Loe Eves, as Sam is useless at typing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Day 2: 22\/07\/17 After a long coach journey to Ayensudo we were greeted enthusiastically by yhe kids of Ayensudo village.
