Day 15- Tom and Kristian
\nToday both groups were awoken by Carol after a lovey night\u2019s sleep at Stumble inn, as everyone rose from their slumbers, in the bunk-beds one by one the remaining group members who hadn\u2019t showered enjoyed an invigorating dousing of freezing H20.
\n Each team member was allowed to order their own breakfast the night before so most people enjoyed pancakes with either banana and chocolate or lemon and sugar, afterwards each operative of the group packed their bags and prepared for the six-hour journey to reach Aylos bay which is at the side of lake Volta (which according to Carol is the world\u2019s largest man-made lake)
\nWe climbed onto an untrustworthy block of cement, held onto a thick piece of string and trusted our instincts: jump, scream, drop and surface whilst laughing our heads off, in the meantime swallowing several gallons of unpurified, crocodile infested lake water. We then proceeded to get out and get showered down by some of what Owen calls \u2018slightly more lukewarm than lukewarm\u2019 water from the shower, which several of us did share with one rather peculiar looking frog, who, after getting out of the same lake as us, obviously preferred the finer things in life, such as all purpose soap and a dark wet-room.
\nDinner was a fine banquet, in which we all dined with care \u2013 grab a plate and let the Spaghetti Bolognese free-for-all commence. Now that dinner has finished, Tom, Max and myself and writing this whilst drinking Robinson\u2019s squirty squash straight from the squirter, and playing Where\u2019s Waldo?<\/p>\n
PS. Dear Tracey Holmes, your son is currently going cold turkey without his Milo, and he wishes for you to purchase some for him as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
