Days 8 and 10 – Team 10

Partner Schools Worldwide > Weydon and Dwabor JHS > Days 8 and 10 – Team 10

Blog Day 8 Team 10

Hiya, Amelia and Ali here writing the blog for day 8. This morning for breakfast we ate eggy bread ad baked beans, we literally demolished it. After breakfast we got into our project clothes and continued to paint, work and sweat, yay! However, many things are done, including murals, the floor in the school, some cupboards and painting the toilets which were disgusting. We also had fun destroying a blackboard 🙂

For lunch at 12, we had rice with vegetable curry and frankfurters – unlucky vegetarians (me).

Now we are preparing for the buddy buffet which consists of a miniature sports day and a mixture of typical Ghanian and English food. Then we will have a big celebration around the camp fire (singing and dancing) “I want, I want, I want Ed to dance with me”. Then we will get into our mosquito nets and all chat about our day. Byeee, Ali and Amelia out!

Day 10 Team 10

Hi, Ali and Beth here! We got up at 6 to have our last breakfast in Dwabor. We were packed by 8am and for the last 20 minutes we said our goodbyes to our buddies, which was very emotional because we have grown to know and love them over the past week.

Now we are in Stumble Inn beach resort where we have met up with Team 11 for the first time in ten days. Now we are chilling on the beach and having fun until around 5pm where we will say our goodbyes again for another week before Rest and Relaxation.

After we leave Stumble we will go to Ayensudo where we will be greeted by a welcome ceremony. We can’t wait to meet our new buddies!!! Bye!!!
